Doug Haeussler | President
Doug Haeussler is the President and owner of Haeussler Insurance Agency. He has been with HI Agency since 2005 and has over 20 years of insurance industry experience. Doug is continuously voted one of D Magazine’s best Insurance Agents since they started giving the award! He began his career working in the medical insurance field with Prudential and New York Life. Later he made the transition to personal, commercial and life insurance as a captive agent. He was recognized as top producer in Life and Property & Casualty while working at Farm Bureau. Doug has sat on the advisory council for several of the companies that HI Agency works with. These councils help improve claims service, customer service, and coverage’s. Doug’s commitment to helping others extends throughout community. At an early age, Doug spent time as a volunteer firefighter; this experience proved to be a driving force behind his commitment to selflessly help improve the lives others. Doug, HI Agency, and the companies HI Agency writes with contribute to several charities in North Texas which include the Guns & Hoses Foundation and the Taylor Hooton Foundation. Doug and his family are from Michigan; however, he grew up in Texas. He has lived in the DFW Metroplex most of his life. He currently resides in Lucas with his wife and three beautiful young daughters.
Nick Klein | Vice President
Nick Klein is the vice president and co-owner of HI Agency. He was named one of D Magazines’ Best Insurance Agent’s and Texas Monthly’s Five Star Insurance Agent every year since the awards started. Nick began working with HI Agency in 2005 after graduating from Howard Payne University. Nick has been a top producing agent every year. Nick grew up in Marble Falls, Texas with an older sister, younger brother, and parents who were both public school teachers and coaches. Nick met his wife Jenna while they were in college. They now live in Wylie, Texas with their two beautiful daughters and are very involved in their local church and community. Nick understands the importance of family. Taking care of his clients is his #1 priority. He is a dedicated, hard working agent who will make sure you have the correct coverage’s and great rates so that you are protected correctly! Alicia Holigan | Director of Operations
Alicia Holigan serves as Director of Operations for HI Agency and leads the day-to-day operations of all our offices. Since joining the HI family in 2011, Alicia has grown with the agency—rising from top Customer Service Representative to top-producing agent, earning multiple D Magazine and Texas Monthly Five Star Agent recognitions, and now stepping into a key leadership role overseeing operations and supporting the continued growth of the agency.
A Dallas-area native, Alicia brings both industry expertise and heart to everything she does. She is a proud mom to her daughter Ariel and wife to her husband, Brandon. When she’s not supporting the HI team and our clients, Alicia enjoys spending time with her husband Brandon and their daughter Ariel, making memories through family adventures and embracing the values of resilience, love, and togetherness that guide both her personal life and her work.

Clay Hart | Senior Agent
Clay Hart is a HI Agency senior agent with a BBA degree from Texas State University. He has over 25 years of experience in business sales and marketing which include owning a wholesale food company and a staffing/employment agency. Clay has been in the Insurance industry for over a decade and became a HI Agency agent in 2013. He holds a license in Life, Health, Property and Casualty insurance. He has been voted Best Insurance Agent by D Magazine for the last 7 years. His vast knowledge and unique business experience makes him a beneficial part of HI Agency. Clay lives in Grapevine and active in the Chamber of Commerce as well as his local church.
Justin Harris | Senior Agent
Justin Harris is a General Lines Agent at HI Agency and a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree. He received the Five Star Professional Award in 2016 and has been recognized multiple times as one of D Magazine’s Best Insurance Agents.
Justin joined HI Agency in 2013 and quickly became one of the agency’s top producers. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he never backs down from a challenge and consistently goes above and beyond for his clients. With extensive knowledge of the carriers he represents, Justin serves as a trusted resource for clients seeking guidance, clarity, and comprehensive coverage solutions.

Patrick Davis | Agent
Patrick is a HI Agency - General Lines Insurance Agent. Patrick joined the HI Agency family in 2019 and has proven to be a great personality to be around with service as his focus. Patrick grew up in Nassau, Bahamas with 5 brothers and 1 sister. Patrick studied at the University of North Texas and earned his Bachelors in Degree in Hospitality Management. After college, Patrick quickly began to climb the ranks of Ultra-Luxury properties in DFW. During his career in Ultra-Luxury Hospitality, Patrick was named Employee of the Year and received many awards in leadership and service to his guest. Patrick loves to serve each client and keeps the needs of his clients top of mind in every decision he makes. Patrick married his beautiful wife Macey in July 2017 overlooking the beautiful cliffs of Half Moon Bay, California and they currently live in Wylie, Texas. They have one beautiful daughter on the way who will make her grand entrance in November 2019. He believes that faith, family, and sincere friends is the key to ultimate success. Lorilei Miranda | Agent
Lorilei has been in the insurance industry since 2018 and was so great, we knew we needed her on our team! She started with HI Agency in September of 2020. She is extremely knowledgeable and actively trains the whole staff on the best ways to handle our commercial clients; but don't let that scare you- she's also amazing with personal lines. Lorilei has a friendly and down-to-earth personality. She loves living in her small town in the country. She adores spending time with her nieces and nephews. She loves being an animal mom to her dogs, cat, and chickens. Lorilei can make any conversation feel like you're talking to a friend at the kitchen table. She strives to do what's right, and will do her best to meet all of your insurance needs!
Michael McCrossin | Agent
Michael McCrossin joined the HI Family in October of 2020. He is pretty new to the insurance industry, but he has an eagerness to learn that exceeds all others and he is one of the most polite people you will ever meet. He treats every client as if they are his own family. Michael was born and raised in Wylie, TX and graduated from Wylie High School. He loves that he can continue to service his local community (and beyond). He enjoys spending time with his cat, spending time with his church family, and most importantly- helping others. Kyle Chewning | Agent
Kyle Chewning is an Agent at HI Agency with industry experience dating back to 2017. He brings nearly a decade of insurance expertise to his clients, including eight years as an Insurance Advisor with Liberty Mutual. Kyle is licensed in Commercial and Life Insurance and primarily focuses on helping individuals and families secure comprehensive Home and Auto coverage tailored to their unique needs. He is known for his strong risk-assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to design coverage strategies that balance protection and value.
Kyle was inspired to pursue a career in insurance by his father, Robert Chewning, who has served clients in the industry for more than 40 years. Growing up around a relationship-focused advisor showed him the powerful impact trusted guidance can have on families and businesses. Today, he is passionate about helping clients reduce unnecessary expenses while ensuring they maintain the right level of protection and peace of mind. His goal is to make sure every client feels confident and prepared should the unexpected occur.
Outside of the office, Kyle’s greatest joy is being a father. He spends much of his time supporting his children and their many activities, from soccer tournaments and football games to basketball practices, band concerts, and choir performances. Kyle is proud to serve families and businesses throughout Texas and remains committed to providing dependable guidance and exceptional service every step of the way.
